Is there an app for you to distinguish which person you want to hear call using Android phone?

I remember when I was using my Blackberry, there was an option called Profiles, where you could set different settings for if you wanted it to ring loud, normal, have it on vibrate, etc. Also, I was able to set it to where for certain people, my phone wouldn't ring or vibrate when they called or sent a text. I was wondering if there was an app or setting that I could do this on an Android phone?
