R&P... Tell us your music history...?

I was always surrounded by music, my parents had records, they played mostly classical and opera along with some vocal jazz. First band I loved was The Beach Boys. This came about because my mom played the Oldies station all the time in the car. Back when Oldies meant music from 1955-1965. So this would be a pretty young age, I dunno 6, 7? After The Beach Boys I got really into DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince. This was due to a kid I went to day care with when I was about 9? Anyways, don't let anyone fool you, those old Fresh Prince albums are great. Right around then I got into Madonna, when Like A Prayer came out. Been down with her since then.
