University grades needed?

hi i live in the uk.. well.. i want too go too university but unfortunately i have no gcse or a levels. Am i able too go too college and study just one subject i.e art and do that in gcse level and a level, and then just goo too university too study that one subject? If not, could anyone please explain grades/requirements needed please.
